The UAC-2from Zoom is a 2×2 USB 3.0 audio interface that provides nearly zero latency and supports resolutions of up to 24-bit/192 kHz. Its compact and durable design makes it ideal for both studio and field recording of microphones and instruments, as well as for onstage playback and audio streaming. Furthermore, with dedicated MIDI input and output connectors, it can function effectively as a reliable MIDI interface.

This unit is equipped with two XLR/TRS combo inputs featuring microphone preamps and two balanced 1/4″ outputs. It also offers phantom power for condenser microphones. Additionally, inputs 1 and 2 include a Hi-Z instrument input suitable for guitars and bass. The headphone output is equipped with a dedicated volume control, and a complimentary Mac application is provided for adjusting mix parameters and incorporating effects such as reverb and echo. The interface is powered via USB but can also be powered using the optional AD-14 power adapter. The UAC-2 comes with a USB 3.0 cable and a Steinberg Cubase LE software license card.
