Overview

Known as the “workhorse” of the German army, the Panzer IV was the only German tank to remain in continuous production throughout World War II. The Ausf.J was the final production version, a simplified model designed for easier and faster manufacturing in the late stages of the war. Its most significant change was the addition of an extra fuel tank, which nearly doubled its operational range and increased its effectiveness.

This 1/48 scale kit from Tamiya is a detailed replica of the late-war Panzer IV Ausf.J.
