Alysium’s new USB 10G Active Optical Cables (AOC) enable ultra-long cable lengths without sacrificing the high bandwidth and convenience of USB connectivity. Featuring a sleek die-cast design, these cables ensure full functionality and compatibility with the USB3 Vision standard. Alysium’s USB 10G Active Optical Cables (AOC) support Gen2 (10G) data transmission with optical USB3 capabilities reaching lengths up to 100 meters and electrical USB2 functionality extending up to 15 meters. Powered entirely by the USB VBus, these assemblies require no external power and supply 800mA at 5V up to 15 meters (note: the current Type-C version does not support USB Power Delivery). Designed for rugged industrial environments, they feature die-cast terminations, end-to-end EMC/EMI protection certified to FCC Part 15B, and torsional and S-bend-tested high-flex cabling. Screw-locking brackets ensure secure connections and compatibility with all vision industry standards, while the Type-C interface adapts seamlessly to various receptacle positions and depths.
