MK2Samyang lenses includeweather sealing, anaperture de-click switchfor smooth and silent operation during video, a rubberizedmicro pattern focusing grip, and anine blade circular aperturefor greater bokeh. In addition, the focusing control action has beenmodified with a smoother, perfectly damped long throwfor precise follow focus when shooting video.

TheMK2 14mm also adds a uniquefocus lockfeature. This enables precise infinity focus to remain locked in during long exposures, a highly useful feature that astrophotographers will love.

TheMK2 14mm F2.8 delivers an ultra-wide 115.7 angle of view for full frame cameras with wide angle views of approximately 94/90/76 respectively for APS-C/ Canon APS-C/ MFT sensor models. Its sophisticated 14-element in ten group design utilizes seven specialized elements that include Hybrid Aspherical, HRI, Aspherical, and ED types plus UMC antireflective coatings for clear and vibrant images.

The lens hood is built-in and a soft lens pouch is included.
