Joff Bush and the Bluey Music team proudly present for Christmas a brand-new Bluey single Verandah Santa. Four brand news songs presented on CD, packaged in special rectangular shaped packaging with exclusive new artwork.

Lets Play Veranda Santa is directly from the Bluey episode Verandah Santa and is a truly great representation of an Australian Christmas! It was created using pieces of dialogue and score from the original episode to make sure when you listen to this track you can feel like youre back in the episode and playing along with the Heelers!

Verandah Santa is a take on the episode theme, working with Emma Dean and Joe Twist and adding elements played by Camerata – Queenslands Chamber Orchestra. Composer Joff Bush commented we wanted to have a fun take on Tchaikovskys Christmas classic, The Nutcracker (one of our favourite pieces) because a fun Christmas needs fun music! We also wanted a 50s Disney-esque sound like some of our favourite Christmas records.

As well as the title track, the EP also features a brand-new song – I Dont Have A Chimney. Joff says We found ourselves writing the lyrics in the style of Emmas young Santa-obsessed kids – resulting in many guffaws and grins! We had so much fun writing and recording this EP together.

Track four is a brand-new festive version of the Bluey theme. We had heaps of fun adding to the original extended theme from the first album with snippets from other tracks like Instrument Parade and some references to Jingle Bells and Joy To The World – and of course adding some fun percussion and other Christmassy flair!

Across December 2024 in the US, the episode Verandah Santa ranked #6 on Disney+ among Bluey episodes.

This EP was wonderfully collaborative and made with a lot of joy. Joe Twist, Emma Dean, the whole Bluey Music Team and I worked with so many of our favourite musicians. To me, Joe Twists incredible arranging and Emmas stunning vocal performances made the best Christmas present ever. I hope you like it as much as we loved making it.
