Domino are pleased to announce their latest signing, Irish alt-folk and electronica alchemist Seamus Fogarty!

Originally from County Mayo on the west coast of Ireland, Fogarty now resides in London. His previous releases include debut full-length album ‘God Damn You Mountain’ (Fence/Lost Map) and 2015’s EP ‘Ducks and Drakes.’

Produced by Fogarty and Leo Abrahams (Brian Eno, Wild Beasts), ‘A Curious Hand’ will be released via Domino Recording Co.

Seamus has been hovering around the periphery of Domino for a few years now as part of the Fence Collective/Lost Maps crew, along with performing/recording/remixing James Yorkston. The album was produced by Seamus & Leo Abrahams whose wide & varied CV takes in working with Brian Eno and Wild Beasts.

Seamus has always had an interest in placing abstract noises within beautiful stories and loves artists such as Swans and Boredoms, so his references are really interesting and varied.

His partner Emma Smith also plays on the record and is well known for her string arrangements for Hot Chip, Caribou and more.
