The Aputure Amaran COB 200x S Point Source LED is a 200W bi-color daylight Bowens Mount point-source light with integrated controls, full Bowens Mount versatility, and an upgraded LED chipset for enhanced color quality and spectral reproduction.

All-New Design

Featuring an all-new dual-blue LED chipset design, the COB 200x S has improved spectral continuity to achieve stunning spectral reproduction of an ultra-high SSI (Tungsten) of 90 and an SSI (D56) of 89, an 18.6 percent increase in SSI from its predecessor. The enhanced color accuracy of the COB 200x S can also be seen in its increased CRI (95), TLCI (98), TM-30 RF (97), and TM-30 RG (101) values.

Compatibility

Equipped with a full-size universal Bowens Mount, the COB 200x S is compatible with the largest selection of modifiers on the market, including the Light Dome SE, Light Dome Mini II, and Aputure Lantern, making it an incredibly versatile multi-tool. For additional versatility, the COB 200x S can also be used with an umbrella mount integrated into the lamp head.

Compact Stature

Matching the all-in-one build of its predecessor, the COB 200x S contains a powerhouse LED that can output 45400+ lux at 1 meter when paired with the matching Hyper Reflector. It’s simple and compact form factor houses an intuitive LCD screen and control knob interface that seamlessly blends into the body of the fixture, with the ability to adjust the light in 1 percent increments and tune the light from 2,700K to 6,500K.

Sidus Mesh Technology

Using its integrated Sidus Mesh technology, the COB 200x S can be controlled wirelessly via the Sidus Link app, granting it access to an extended range of intuitive controls as well as 9 lighting effects, including Paparazzi, Fireworks, Lightning, Faulty Bulb, TV, Pulse, Strobe, Explosion, and Fire.

Power

In addition to the included AC Power Supply, its 48V DC Power input grants the 200x S the flexibility of battery power using two Gold or V-mount batteries with the Aputure 2-Bay Battery Power Station (sold separately), providing versatile power options for seamless workflows across all shooting environments.
