From their spearheading trilogy of influential EPs within an exploding Australian prog scene – Quiet Waters (2013), Children of Aether and Earth (2015), Of Delight and Despair (2016) – to the ambitious debut album Costly Signals (2020) – the Adelaideans evolved into a respected powerhouse icon of Australian prog metal, in the wake of inspiring countless acts with their avant-garde approach to the genre. Their proven pedigree is mirrored by who theyve shared stages with; Opeth, TesseracT, Leprous, Between The Buried And Me, Voyager, Caligulas Horse, and SikTh, to name a few.

In 2025, Dyssidia unveil their most immersive and expansive work yet, their sophomore album, Deeper Wells of Meaning – co-produced and mixed by Sam Vallen (Caligulas Horse) and mastered by V. Santura (Obscura). The upcoming album dives deeper into the bands core – a unique combination of weaving, crushing intricacy and raw vulnerability into a singular, immersive experience. With this release, Dyssidia once again challenges the boundaries of what progressive metal can be.
