Ladan (formerly Cold Specks) has released three critically acclaimed albums with Mute Records and Arts & Crafts. Her debut album, I Predict A Graceful Expulsion, was a monsoon of sound that rained expressiveness like a poets thought cloud.

Genre classifications are besides the point, Ladan is a storyteller. Some people grow radically, hitting walls and changing directions as they bounce through life, which Ladan certainly did on her path to making music. After some time off due to issues with bipolar psychosis, Ladan has reclaimed her creative autonomy.
