The Protective Cap MK-II is suitable for all Elinchrom pack heads and monolights. It prevents damage to the flash tube and modelling lamp during storage or transport. Keeps the dust off too.

This is the new longer cap that will protect longer modelling lamps. It’s the standard bayonet-fitting protective cap for all Elinchrom heads (except Ranger Quadra).

Note: this is not a snoot – don’t turn on the modelling lamp with cap in place!
